Ingredients for Brining:

Ingredients for Cooking:

  • Uncle Dibbz Texas Steak Rub, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup chicken stock

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the brine according to Uncle Dibbz Top of the Line Brine instructions. Make sure there's enough brine solution to fully submerge the pork chops.

  2. Place the pork chops in the brine and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, but preferably overnight.

  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  4. Remove the pork chops from the brine, rinse them under cold water, and pat them dry with paper towels.

  5. Rub Uncle Dibbz Texas Steak Rub on all sides of the pork chops.

  6. Heat the olive oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

  7. Once the oil is hot, add the pork chops. Sear on each side for about 4-5 minutes, or until they get a nice golden-brown color.

  8. Add the minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for a minute until the garlic is fragrant.

  9. Add the butter and let it melt. Using a spoon, baste the pork chops with the melted butter for a minute.

  10. Pour the chicken stock into the skillet. Allow it to come to a boil.

  11. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  12. Remove the skillet from the oven (be careful, the handle will be hot). Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes.

  13. Serve the pork chops with the pan sauce poured over the top. That's good Shawty!
