Texas Style Surf and Turf (Steak and Shrimp)

Ingredients
For the Ribeye:
- 1 boneless ribeye steak (12–16 oz)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Uncle Dibbz Texas Steak Rub
For the Shrimp:
- 1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Uncle Dibbz Delta Dust
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
1. Prep the Ribeye
- Pat steak dry.
- Rub both sides with olive oil.
- Season generously with Uncle Dibbz Texas Steak Rub.
- Let it sit at room temp for 20–30 minutes.
2. Season the Shrimp
- In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil and a heavy coat of Uncle Dibbz Delta Dust.
- Thread onto skewers and set aside.
3. Cook the Ribeye
- Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until nearly smoking.
- Place the steak in the pan and sear for 4–5 minutes on the first side.
- Flip and cook another 3–4 minutes (for medium-rare).
- Rest the steak for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
4. Cook the Shrimp
- In the same skillet or a clean pan, grill shrimp skewers over medium-high heat.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until pink and slightly charred.
To Serve
- Slice ribeye and serve with shrimp skewers on the side.
- Optional: garnish with lemon wedges or fresh herbs.
