Texas Style Surf and Turf (Steak and Shrimp)

Instructions

1. Prep the Ribeye

  • Pat steak dry.
  • Rub both sides with olive oil.
  • Season generously with Uncle Dibbz Texas Steak Rub.
  • Let it sit at room temp for 20–30 minutes.

2. Season the Shrimp

  • In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil and a heavy coat of Uncle Dibbz Delta Dust.
  • Thread onto skewers and set aside.

3. Cook the Ribeye

  • Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until nearly smoking.
  • Place the steak in the pan and sear for 4–5 minutes on the first side.
  • Flip and cook another 3–4 minutes (for medium-rare).
  • Rest the steak for 5–10 minutes before slicing.

4. Cook the Shrimp

  • In the same skillet or a clean pan, grill shrimp skewers over medium-high heat.
  • Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until pink and slightly charred.

To Serve

  • Slice ribeye and serve with shrimp skewers on the side.
  • Optional: garnish with lemon wedges or fresh herbs.
