Ingredients:
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup honey
Directions:

Preheat Oven & Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan or cast-iron skillet with butter or cooking spray.

Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, beat together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and honey.

Combine: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined.

Transfer to Pan: Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Bake: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool & Serve: Allow the cornbread to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm with a dollop of butter and an extra drizzle of honey if desired.
