Get my recipe below ⬇️ or on uncledibbz.com [ Link in Bio] 🌐 Ingredients: • Chicken legs, thighs and wings (2 of each) • 1 cup all-purpose flour • 1 tablespoon baking powder • 2 tablespoons Uncle Dibbz Durtty Bird Rub (or adjust to taste) [link in bio] • Egg whites from 2 eggs • 1/2 cup water • Peanut oil for frying Instructions: 1. Prepare Chicken: If your chicken legs and wings are not already cut, trim them into pieces. 2. Prepare Dry Coating: In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and Uncle Dibbz Durtty Bird Rub. 3. Coat Chicken in Dry Mixture: Dip each piece of chicken into the dry mixture, ensuring each piece is well-coated. 4. Prepare Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the egg whites and water. 5. Dip Chicken in Wet Mixture: Dip each dry-coated chicken piece into the egg white mixture. 6. Re-coat Chicken in Dry Mixture: Dredge the chicken back into the dry mixture, ensuring each piece is well-coated again. 7. Fry Chicken: In a large, deep pan or deep-fryer, heat the peanut oil to 350°F. Carefully place the coated chicken into the hot oil. Keep oil between 300-325ºF while frying. Fry until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C), about 12-15 minutes for wings and 15-20 minutes for legs. 8. Drain and Serve: Remove the chicken from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil. 9. Enjoy: Serve hot, and enjoy the crispy, flavorful chicken.
