No Salt Black Bean Soup



  • 2 cans of black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot, peeled and diced
  • 1 celery stalk, diced
  • Uncle Dibbz BeBe's Salt Free, to taste
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (optional)


  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, diced carrot, and diced celery. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are softened.

  2. Add the Uncle Dibbz BeBe's Salt Free, to taste to the pot. Stir well to combine.

  3. Add the drained and rinsed black beans, and vegetable broth. Bring the mixture to a boil.

  4. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the soup simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. After simmering, taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.

  6. If desired, stir in chopped cilantro for added freshness and flavor.

  7. Serve hot with a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt on top, if desired.
