Nashville HOT Chicken Sandwich
INGREDIENTS:

2 boneless and skinless chicken thighs
Sandwich:
- 2 brioche buns
- Coleslaw or Lettuce
- Mayo
- Pickle chips
Dry Mix:

1 cup flour
Wet Mix:
-
1 large egg
-
1 cup of buttermilk

2 Tbsp hot sauce
Hot Oil Spices:

1 cup hot oil
- Uncle Dibbz Durtty Bird Rub Nashville HOT!, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:

Season the chicken with Uncle Dibbz Durtty Bird Rub Nashville HOT!, to taste. Let sit for 20-30mins

Fill a heavy bottomed pot with oil and preheat to 325F.

For the wet mix, whisk together beaten egg with buttermilk, and hot sauce.

For the dry mix, combine all-purpose flour with Uncle Dibbz Durtty Bird Rub Nashville HOT!, to taste. Whisk together.

Dunk the chicken into the flour followed by the buttermilk mixture and back into the flour mixture. Repeat with the remaining thigh.

Drop chicken into the oil in batches for 8-10 minutes or internal temperature reaches 165ºF.

Transfer to a wire rack set over a rimmed baking sheet to cool.

In a heat safe bowl, take a cup of hot frying oil and Uncle Dibbz Durtty Bird Rub Nashville HOT!,to taste (use more for extra spicy) and whisk together.

Once thoroughly mixed, coat each piece of chicken with wet spice mixture.

Lay chicken on a bun, dress with mayo, pickles, coleslaw or lettuce and serve. That's good Shawty!
