Prep: 10 minutes | Cook: 8 to 10 minutes | Serves: 3 to 4
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds skinless salmon, cut into bite size pieces
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 1 tablespoon neutral oil
- 5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Uncle Dibbz Straight Drop Seafood Boil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Uncle Dibbz Atlanta Lemon Pepper Mild
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
Instructions
- Pat the salmon dry and cut it into bite size pieces. Do not season it separately.
- Set a large skillet over medium low heat. Add the oil and 4 tablespoons of butter.
- Once the butter has melted, add the garlic, Straight Drop Seafood Boil, and Atlanta Lemon Pepper Mild. Stir for 30 to 45 seconds, until fragrant.
- Add the salmon directly to the seasoned butter and arrange it in one layer. Cook untouched for about 2 minutes.
- Gently turn the salmon and cook for 1 to 2 minutes more, until lightly browned and nearly cooked through.
- Add the remaining tablespoon of butter and the lemon juice. Gently toss and baste for 30 to 45 seconds, until every bite is glossy and coated in the sauce.
- Serve right away, spooning all of the lemon pepper butter from the skillet over the salmon.
Seasonings Used
These two seasonings build the flavor of the pan sauce.
Quick Tips
- Keep the heat at medium low so the garlic stays fragrant and does not burn.
- Cook in batches if your skillet is crowded.
- Salmon cooks quickly, so pull it off the heat as soon as it flakes under gentle pressure.
