Prep Time
5 minutes
Cook Time
Varies based on wing method (baked, fried, grilled, or air fried).
Ingredients
For the Wings
- 2 pounds chicken wings, cooked using your preferred method
For the Buffalo Sauce
- 1 stick unsalted butter (8 tablespoons)
- 1/2 cup Uncle Dibbz HXT Sauce
- Optional 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Optional 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional pinch of cayenne for extra heat
Instructions
- Cook your wings using your preferred method until fully cooked and hot. This sauce works with baked, fried, grilled, or air fried wings.
- While the wings are cooking, make the sauce. Add butter to a small saucepan over medium low heat and let it melt completely.
- Once the butter is melted, pour in the HXT Sauce. Add garlic powder, black pepper, or cayenne if using.
- Whisk until smooth and fully combined. Keep warm over low heat. Do not boil.
- Transfer hot wings to a large mixing bowl. Pour the sauce over the wings and toss until fully coated.
- Serve immediately while hot.
Notes and Tips
- The key ratio is one part butter to two parts hot sauce.
- Toss wings while they are hot so the sauce coats evenly.
- For a slightly thicker sauce, let it simmer gently for 1 to 2 minutes.
- For milder wings, add a bit more butter. For hotter wings, add a splash more HXT Sauce.
