Garlic Butter Baby Back Ribs
Ingredients
For the Ribs:
- 1 rack baby back ribs (2.5–3 lbs)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Uncle Dibbz Texas Steak Rub (enough to coat both sides)
For the Garlic Herb Butter:
- 1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, finely minced
- Uncle Dibbz Delta Dust – 1 teaspoon
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh sage
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
Instructions
1. Prep the Ribs
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Pat them dry with paper towels. Drizzle with olive oil, then generously season both sides with Texas Steak Rub. Wrap tightly in foil, meat side up, and place on a baking sheet.
2. Bake
Preheat your oven to 300°F. Bake the ribs for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
3. Make the Garlic Herb Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in sage, thyme, rosemary, and Delta Dust. Turn off the heat and let the butter steep for 5–10 minutes.
4. Glaze and Finish
Remove the ribs from the oven and unwrap. Brush generously with the garlic herb butter. Place under the broiler (high) for 3–5 minutes until the butter bubbles and herbs lightly crisp. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
5. Serve
Let the ribs rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Spoon extra garlic herb butter over the top if desired and serve warm.
