Method: Grill, Skillet, or Oven

Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets, 6 to 8 ounces each
- 1/4 cup Uncle Dibbz Straight Drop Rub
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- Cooking spray or oil, for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat your grill, stovetop skillet, or oven. For grilling or skillet cooking, use medium high heat. If baking, preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps the butter and seasoning stick better.
- Brush the melted butter on both sides of each salmon fillet.
- Generously coat each fillet with Uncle Dibbz Straight Drop Rub, pressing the seasoning gently onto the fish so it adheres.
- If grilling, oil the grates and cook the salmon for 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until opaque and flaky.
- If using a skillet, lightly grease the pan and cook the salmon over medium high heat for 4 to 5 minutes per side.
- If baking, place the salmon on a greased baking sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until cooked through and flaky.
- Remove the salmon from the heat and let it rest for 1 minute before serving. Serve hot with roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
Recipe Notes
For a deeper blackened crust, use a cast iron skillet and make sure the salmon is patted dry before adding the melted butter and seasoning. For a lighter option, bake the salmon instead of pan searing it.
