Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 red pepper, sliced
- 1/2 green pepper, sliced
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 pound medium-sized shrimp, shell off and deveined
- 12 oz of andouille sausage, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 onion, minced
- 1 cup of Uncle Dibbz King Creole Blend
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Minced parsley for garnish
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Once the water is boiling add in pasta and cook till al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high and add butter.
- Season the shrimp with Uncle Dibbz King Creole Blend and add to the skillet once butter is melted.
- Cook for 5 minutes or until shrimp turns pink. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet add sausage and onion.
- Sauté until the onion is translucent and the sausage starts to brown. Once cooked remove contents.
- To make creamy sauce, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds or until fragrant.
- Pour chicken stock into the skillet and scrape any brown bits on the bottom of the pan.
- Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and season with Uncle Dibbz King Creole Blend.
- Simmer on medium heat until the sauce starts to thicken, about 5 minutes.
- Add in the cooked pasta, sausage, peppers and shrimp. Toss to combine and serve.
