Cajun Turkey Chops


Ingredients

  • 4 turkey chops (turkey breast cutlets)
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Marinade

Flour Mixture

Gravy (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons turkey drippings or butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon Uncle Dibbz Delta Dust

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Turkey Chops: Mix buttermilk, Uncle Dibbz Durtty Bird Rub, and hot sauce. Add turkey chops, ensuring they are fully submerged. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  2. Prepare the Flour Mixture: Combine flour with Uncle Dibbz Delta Dust.
  3. Dredge the Turkey Chops: Remove chops from marinade, dredge each chop in the seasoned flour mixture.
  4. Fry the Turkey Chops: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry chops until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side. Ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Prepare the Gravy: In a skillet, mix flour and drippings, add broth and Uncle Dibbz Delta Dust, and cook until thickened.
  6. Serve the turkey chops with gravy and your choice of sides.
