@uncledibbz Chicken PROPOSE To Me Pasta 💍 A lot of people asked for a non-seafood version so Unc’ has got you covered! 🍝 Get my recipe below ⬇️ or on uncledibbz.com [@uncledibbz] 🌐 Ingredients: - 12 oz spaghetti (or your choice of pasta) - 2 chicken andouille sausages, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds - 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces - 4 slices of thick-cut bacon, chopped - 2 tablespoons olive oil - 4 cloves garlic, minced - 1 cup heavy cream - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese - 2-3 tablespoons of your "Straight Drop Rub" seasoning [link in bio] - Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish - Optional: red chili flakes for added heat Instructions: 1. **Cook the Pasta**: Boil the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and then drain the pasta. 2. **Bacon, Sausage & Chicken Prep**: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon pieces until they are crispy. Remove them and set aside. In the bacon fat, add the sliced chicken andouille sausages and cook until they have a nice sear on both sides. Remove and set aside with the bacon. Season chicken thigh pieces generously with "Straight Drop Rub" and sauté in the skillet until fully cooked. Remove and set them aside. 3. **Creamy Cajun Sauce**: Pour the chicken stock into the pan and bring to a simmer, scraping the bottom of the pan to release any browned bits. Continue cooking until the stock has reduced slightly then add butter. In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream, and bring it to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth. Add more "Straight Drop Rub" if desired, and mix well. If the sauce is too thick, you can thin it with the reserved pasta water. 4. **Combine Everything**: Add the cooked spaghetti, crispy bacon, seared sausage, and seasoned chicken to the creamy sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated and the ingredients are evenly distributed. 5. **Serve**: Dish out the pasta, garnishing with chopped fresh parsley.
