Ingredients:

  • 1.5 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons Uncle Dibbz Memphis Bussin' BBQ Rub
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Wooden or metal skewers (if wooden, soak in water for at least 30 minutes before use)

For the BBQ Sauce:

Instructions:

  1. Start by preheating your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with the olive oil and 3 tablespoons of Uncle Dibbz Memphis Bussin' BBQ Rub. Ensure all shrimp are well coated.

  3. If using wooden skewers, make sure they have been soaked in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent them from burning. Thread the shrimp onto the skewers.

  4. To make the BBQ sauce, combine the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and 2 tablespoons of Uncle Dibbz Memphis Bussin' BBQ Rub in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved and the sauce starts to thicken slightly. This should take about 5-7 minutes. Remove the sauce from the heat and set aside.

  5. Place the shrimp skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.

  6. In the last minute of grilling, brush some of the BBQ sauce onto the shrimp, then flip and brush the other side. Be careful to not let the sauce burn.

  7. Once the shrimp are fully cooked, remove them from the grill.

  8. Serve the grilled BBQ shrimp with the remaining BBQ sauce on the side for dipping. You can pair this dish with a fresh salad, grilled vegetables, or any side dish of your choice. That's good Shawty!
